MY STORY

From the moment I first touched a soccer ball, the game has been a defining part of who I am. In my family, soccer isn’t just a sport, it’s a tradition, a language, a legacy. I was kicking a ball before I could walk, and by the time I was five, I was playing for my father’s former club in France. He passed down not just his passion, but the culture of the game that included weekend matches on TV, spirited debates over the Champions League, and dinner table conversations where politics were off-limits but soccer always brought us together.

Soccer became my anchor. As an only child in a family that moved frequently, the game was my constant. No matter where we landed, the field was a place I could be myself - to recenter, to create, and to dream. When we moved to California, I threw myself into the game, playing for competitive clubs and chasing every opportunity to grow.

Along the way, there have been incredible highs - scoring the winning goal to send my team to the NorCal Premier finals, earning a call-up to the NorCal ID2 selection, and making the varsity team as a freshman. There have also been disappointments - suffering injuries my junior year and missing out on a spot at a major academy. But every experience, whether joyful or difficult, has shaped who I am: a resilient, driven, and passionate player.

In high school, I have played varsity all four years and currently serve as team captain. I contributed to three championship seasons and earned All-League honors. More importantly, I’ve learned how to lead, lift others, and compete with heart.

I’m proud of the journey so far, but I know I’m just getting started. I’m ready for the next challenge - to keep growing, learning, and playing at the highest level I can. Soccer isn’t just part of my life - it’s at the center of it. And I know my future belongs on the pitch.
